Huw Irranca-Davies MP continued his support for the Pontyclun Bosom Pals Cancer Support Group attending the open showcase event at the Pavilion in Talbot Green.
The event, opened by the Mayor of Rhonda Cynon Taff Councillor Barry Stephens JP, was a great success and enjoyed by all. In the run up to the open showcase the Pals had been extremely busy producing a wide range of craft items, including a wonderful warm woolly hat for Huw!
Huw said, “The Pontyclun Bosom Pals are an incredible cancer support group here in Ogmore. Since they started as a breast cancer support group they have gone from strength to strength now helping those with all types of cancer. The support they offer helping patients, their carers and families both physically and emotionally is priceless. They truly are a valued and much loved member of our community.”
The Pals normally meet at the Pavilion in Talbot Green on the first Monday of the month at 7pm, except Bank Holidays. Then throughout the month the group meets at various venues to keep in touch and have a chat. For more information email email@example.com.
