Ogmore Assemby Member Huw Irranca-Davies is encouraging school children to visit the National Assembly for Wales.
Nantymoel Primary and Pencoed Comprehensive School are just some schools from Ogmore who have recently visited the Senedd and also met up with Huw during his working day down Cardiff Bay.
Inviting local schools, Huw stated: “It’s always a delight to meet up with pupils and students from Ogmore at the Assembly. It’s such a beautiful building where the friendly staff on hand can provide detailed information about the history of the building. This is your National Assembly and I would encourage people to visit, whether via an organised educational visit or just by popping in whilst down the Bay. It is also free entry.
Find out about your National Assembly – what it does – how it affects you and young people living in Wales. Speak to your teachers and tell them you’re interested in finding out. Let my office know in advance when your group is coming down and I’d love to meet up with you all.
