As part of an educational visit, members of Cefn Cribwr Primary School Council visited the Senedd to learn how the parliament works and how decisions can be made.
Following a tour of the Senedd and visiting the Chamber, the group also met with their own local AM, Huw Irranca-Davies to hear about Huw’s role as their Assembly Member and the work he does locally and in the Senedd.
A ‘question and answer’ session was also held where the eager pupils questioned their AM about a host of wide ranging issues.
Following the visit Mr Irranca-Davies said: “It was great seeing the staff and very engaged pupils of Cefn Cribwr Primary School at the Senedd and I was delighted to meet up with them and take part in their question time session.
I’m always pleased to see schools from Ogmore visiting the Senedd and it’s an added bonus if I can meet up with them. I would encourage more school groups to come down to Cardiff to see how the Assembly works for them.
