At an event in the Senedd, Ogmore Assembly Member and Welsh Government Minister Huw Irranca-Davies pledged his support for the ‘Wales Stand Up Campaign’.
Last year, hundreds of people and their pets across wales took part by sharing their pictures on social media. From sandals on sand to slippers at sunset, they made their stand in the places they love and want to protect. Also in support of those facing adverse effects from the changing climate right now across the world.
In support of the ‘Stop Climate Chaos Cymru’s Campaign’ Huw said: “We all have a responsibility as individuals to play our part in tackling climate change which is already having a huge impact on communities across the globe. I encourage people to show their love for our country and planet this Dwynwen’s Day by making a stand to help tackle climate change.
